Are CamperKing campervans insulated?

No, CamperKing campervans are not insulated and this is for good reason.

Whilst insulating a campervan may seem like a must for camping trips in the unpredictable weather and fluctuating temperatures of the UK, we don't insulate our campervans for a number of reasons.

These reasons include:

Moisture build-up

Living, breathing, and cooking in an insulated campervan can all contribute to an unwanted build-up of moisture which can then turn into mould. This is not only unsightly but also expensive to fix and potentially hazardous to you and anyone else occupying the campervan.

To save space

Insulating a campervan will take up valuable space and reduce the size of your living area.

To keep costs down

Good quality insulation can be very expensive and by not using it, we are able to keep the costs of our campervan conversions down.

What alternative do we offer to insulation?

As we don't insulate our campervans, we instead install diesel heaters into our conversions. These are perfect for warding off the chill during the coldest of nights. To ensure your warmth and comfort in a CamperKing campervan, we have undertaken testing in the wilds of Sweden, Denmark, and Poland with temperatures reaching right down to minus 27 degrees.
