# Should I choose a VW T5, T6, or T6.1?

If your budget permits, we would advise that you choose a VW T6.1. This is simply because you will be buying a newer van with the latest technology and with the likelihood of having lower mileage. If you do choose to purchase a previous generation VW Transporter from us, you can be safe in the knowledge that we will have conducted a full background check on the vehicle prior to converting it, and that the vehicle will be mechanically sound.
